You know I have a lot of time for you Nostraman, but Bailey keeps Curtis out everyday of the week and twice on Sundays.
Curtis taylor is the better footballer, he can hurt you in the air and on the ground when he drifts forward.
And can provide better skills on the wing than bailey.
Yeah no brainer if you think about it.

The coaching staff is mad for Charlie Comben, so he's got the spot currently. CCJ is more of a shitmen forward than any sort of ruck.
Xerri has shown he's not a bad ruck.

CCJ 10 games 5 goals in 2022. Back it in Charlie betters than inside 3 completed games.

For those that rate CCJ he is contracted until 2025, so has plenty of time to work on his craft.
CCJ provides more flexibility than xerri.

CCJ looked good last week, clunking marks forward and is more mobile than xerri. Can play even time ruck and forward.
Xerri is only a ruck.

From my mate who is there:

From what I can see, tomorrow’s side looks like:

Ziebell McKay McDonald
Goater Logue Perez

Shiels Cunnington Scott
Goldstein Davies-Uniacke Simpkin

Curtis Comben Stephenson
Sheezel Larkey Zurhaar

Bonar Powell Bergman Turner Phillips Xerri
Will be 26 playing in these games. So perhaps a couple more as well.

Yes as I said CCJ has lost his spot to Comben who will be 10x the player CCJ is. Not a slight on CCJ, I don't tend to pump our squad, but Charlie has what it takes.

Xerri is only a ruck and as a ruck he will play. No chance CCJ, Larkey & Comben all play up fwd together.

I’d have CCJ on the bench instead of xerri

So he can give a spell to any of Goldy, comben or larkey

You would have 1 always on the bench

Find someone who thinks about you as often as The Nostradamus thinks about Bailey Scott

They're peculiarly close statistically. Practically the same player - age, height, weight, numbers.

I rate Scott well ahead though. He can play multiple defined roles in a team. Curtis isn't prolific enough for wing or reliable enough as a forward target. He's a player searching for a position.

Was surprised how closely matched they were. Thought Curtis would be well in front on forward related stats and Bailey would have him covered for mid/wing related stats. There you are though.

They're both very good. It's just a shame that a football ground doesn't have two wings.

yep very close statistically but curtis taylor has more flexibility to rotate wing and half forward (to be a goal scoring option)

and imo bailey is a lot sloppier with the ball despite the de percentage

They're close statistically but the selection committee ranked Bailey #3 in the B&F and Curtis didn't crack the top 10. So there's some substance to perceiving Bailey as playing his assigned role better.

They're career stats. Last year Scott averaged 3 more disposals and heres the big one that The Nostradamus wont like, turnovers: Taylor 4.2 per game, Scott 2.9.

Scott also played half the year at half back seagulling and chipping sideways to uncontested players to ensure better stats

Hopefully they both make it. Just to my eyes Bailey has a clear best 22 spot, Curtis has a few guys who will keep him out in either of his trialled positions in the short term.

Two very skinny stat lines for two very skinny men.

Based on the stats above, I think they are both average.

Both need to improve dramatically in the next couple of years, or they will get delisted/traded.

North cant hold onto these types for too long, if they dont show improvement after playing 50 games.

Be ruthless North....

Perez has played in 1 win in 18 games
probably has PTSD from being in our backline

neverthless Goater showed more in 15 minutes than Perez has
am hoping Juan really starts taking the game on as team pressure improves

Correct Johnny99- You don't tend to be 18th when you're filled to the gills with class.

Taylor plods up and down the ground. Wingers need to be able to get up and back quickly.
