A short, later start training run today.
Almost exclusively working on fast ball movement and support running. Lots of fast handball drills, 'running off half back' handballing to support. Short sharp 15m kicking drills and working on kicking to space and advantage rather than at the contest.
Every aspect of today was about hammering home the way they are expected to move the ball. Very little defense worked on today.
In excellent news Ben McKay was running laps alongside CCJ and McKAy was kicking and leaping to mark the ball showing no signs of the injury. Certainly well on the way to a return to play (Good Friday??)
In other good news Brayden George was doing some goal kicking practice with the guys and snapped a clever one backwards over his head. He should be up an running soon.
Comben, Larkey and Stevo doing light track work then goal kicking. Howe doing some solo track work before joining the group.
Thats about it for today, not a lot to take pics of but here's a few just for the sake of having them.
Cheers
That’s fair. None have come on as quickly as we would have liked. This year appears to be different thank goodness.Take out Sheezel and Wardlow who were not there last year (which was my comment) and that is a very average list for a club that has been really bad for some time
Hopefully for your sake Sheezel and Wardlow are good because as I said, there is very little to show for the rebuild prior to that
We are 2 - 0 and got Hawforn this week. Why are we training ?
How did the man drown in a bowl or muesli? He was dragged under by a strong currant.Cry into your cereal. I have some spare cornflakes if you need

Do we ever train at night? Not much uptake in training reports since season started but below is the training times for this week

Lols. Training is done before the PMs so they sit on the ps5 or play golf the rest of the dayDo we ever train at night?
Without knowing the stats I'd say we play fewer outdoor night matches than anyone else, and it shows.
Our ball handling in those matches is atrocious, dropping uncontested marks and handball receives.
Sheezle is just out of juniors, he would have trained at night all last year, and he was among the cleanest with the ball.

i reckon they'll just go small next weekIf anyone is going along to training tomorrow, I'd be keen to hear whether there is anyone training with our forward line who looks like a stop-gap KPF replacement.
