Was a finger issue of some sort I think. Thought it was fixed up at the time and then the glove was part of the recovery that eventually he decided to stick with because he got used to it.

I didn't think it was fixed properly at the time, hence why he continued to wear the glove. I expected that he might have had to have some surgery on it at the end of the year but I didn't hear anything about that so not sure.

He dislocated it at the game against St Kilda at Etihad in round 10 (I only remember because I happened to be at the match). It was quite a bad dislocation.

I remember him being asked about the glove at some point later in the season and he said everything was right now and that he was just continuing to wear the glove because he'd gotten used to it but would likely ditch at the end of the season. I recall it being Richo who asked him so likely post game.

The HFC website said Saturday open training from 12 O'clock. I arrived at 11.30 only to be told training started at 8 a.m. and was finished for the day. Not to pleased as I had an hour drive to get there.

Not good PR by the club.

Just watched that. I wouldn't last ten minutes. I am totally in awe of elite athletes

I get worn out just watching. It makes me wonder how we got away with 2 hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Lovell looks like he's shed a few kilos. in that training video "in depth with Kieran Lovell" his face looks skinnier. I've got high hopes for him and the band wagon will be full so need to get on early for a seat.

His loss will be felt for many years to come. Not so much as a player even though thats pretty damn good but as a leader and teacher

The guy is just a general out there. You can see why he's such a good player, just reads plays so well and the game itself.

Loved the mic. Need to do more of these with Hodgey and Mitch
