His nose is actually his biggest resemblance to dean cox. I'd say his build and playing style is more in the Mark Jamar style. He's bollocking and not a leaper, but can palm it well to good spots.

cant believe the number of people who doubt Langford......He had an interrupted year last year but if fit is an automatic selectionHe is travelling well. Looks to have tidied up his composure/disposal during match play drills which was his weakness. I guess we'll have to wait and see if it translates to game day.
yes, just needs to tidy up his disposal a little, but otherwise, has all the assets to make itcant believe the number of people who doubt Langford......He had an interrupted year last year but if fit is an automatic selection

Wut?Random question, reading up on Anthony Milford coming back from the Christmas break over weight and performing poorly in the yearly Broncos beep test. It mentioned Andrew McCullough holding the record at the club of 22, this smashes Billy's combine record (well aware of mid twenties professional athlete vs kid out of high school). Does our club have a record to compare?
FYI Sam Thaiday posted a 18.5 this year, bloke has worked his arse off to become fitter. Sick of playing prop if reports are true, and wants to play his preferred position of 2RF.

I think the nrl must have adopted the beep test standards from the local kindergarten.
A leaner version of a person will never be as strong as his bulkier self. The force that a smaller version of a person will produce will always be less than the bulkier version, with the same amount of acceleration placed in the movement. Therefore, the strength of the leaner version will also be less than the bulkier version.

He's a determined little blighter. He'll be fineFooty is littered with could have been careers.
I think Langford can make it, I hope he can but I don't know he can.
Either way the man is a premiership Hawk and that lasts for life
Yep - a real "will to win" type. Finds that extra notch at the right time. Man 2014 rockedCompletely agree with this.
People forget how huge he was in 14'. There were games when langford lit the fire. His attack on the footy in some games when the chips were down was utterly inspiring.
He's become the forgotten man, almost becomes a virtual recruit for 16'. Expecting big things.
Only at draft combine, held by Hartung at 16.6, Hill was 16.1. This is at 18yo without full time club development so full time AFL players would get higher you'd think, but no rugby players would get closehttp://www.couriermail.com.au/sport...t/news-story/181a603dd9fa3c053a9794c7f7509f4b
Can only comment on what I read.
So does our club have a record of beep tests?
Issy is a better runner than those two, whether he would have set the record at 18 I don't know. Hill and Hartung couldn't touch him their first preseason in the time trial thoughOnly at draft combine, held by Hartung at 16.6, Hill was 16.1. Don't call their ground a "pitch" if you want respect from an NRL supporterI'm confused as to what you two don't understand. A professional rugby league team has a yearly beep test and the current record is 22, if reports from the club are to be believed. As we are considered the endurance game of Australia is there a record that our club keeps in regard to beep test results though our the pre season?
Or is it the fact there are players like Anothony Milford, Andrew McCullough and Sam Thaiday are considered elite athletes in this country?
My love of NRL Supercoach puts me in a position that I know a lot more about rugby league that your average punter, this surprises the hell out of most that I deal with who know me as as AFL supporter. It is a very simple game based on a players work ethic and the minutes they are allowed on the pitch.
The best way I have found to deal with rugby league supporters is to show respect to their game and in turn a majority of them will do the same.
It is the belief of most AFL supporters that their game is the centre of the universe that pisses most NRL supports off the most.
Beep tests can vary but 22 is a bit ridiculous. Marathon runners, triathletes and iron man competitors usually average 17-18, 19 at the very best of the standardised version. Either the NRL are fudging numbers or they have their own version. I suspect the latter as the usual au test has 21 levels and level 20 consists of 16 shuttles, each shuttle allowing 4 seconds to cover the 20m distance. Level 20 means you have already completed 4.3km.

No disrespect but I couldnt care less if a NRL fan does or doesnt like AFL.I'm confused as to what you two don't understand.
