Weird isn’t it? Your bags used to be 10 or so, and they weren’t totally outlier events only seen against Suns after round 20.

Shame really. I guess the 1 on 1 style was more bag conducive then the kind of forward clusterfu** snap thing that dominates most games now.

Actually that was another thing I enjoyed about the GF. Plenty of marks and set shots from the demons. Old school. Not too many from the dogs that I recall but they were pretty low scoring in general.

Reckon one of the main reasons is the 'best forwards' in the game and for the most part some of the worst goal kickers in the ****ing team

Daniher, Naughton, Mckay, Hipwood, Cameron etc. Its so shit. They'll snap a goal from 45 on the run and they are a superstar but cant kick a goal from 15m out infront. Mcdonald and Brown are shit athletes compared to those guys but atleast they'll finish their chances from a set shot.
Forget the superstar era of Ablett, Dunstall, Modra, Plugger etc. Think back to the 2000s you had blokes like Lloyd and Fevola who didnt add a heap around the ground but **** me youd shit yourself if it was kicked to them anywhere near 60m within goal. Just doesnt happen now



Tom Hawkins is the only bloke it feels like doesnt do anything but pump weights and have goal kicking practice. Miss those FFs
