get off your bum mate and get down there. if you're keen to watch the boys in action a 9am start shouldn't bother you if you're on holidays.

Yeh i know i'm lazy, but i live a fair way from the station unless i can get a lift and from the station it'd probably take me an hour and a bit to get there.
Do they always start at 9am or do they sometimes start around midday

Not that I know for certain, but one of the reasons would be so they are not training in the middle of the day during Summer.

they don't usually train in the the afternoons due to the heat specially through summer

I am the same i can not get to the training days due to work commitments otherwise i would be there...

I am sure there will be some intraclub games in the new year that will be in the afternoon in preperation of the nab cup and preliminary season

Yeah, i guess that's a fair enough reason. I could imagine how hard it would be running around in 30 degree or more heat for an hour and a half.
Looks like i might have to go to one of those intra club matches then.
