Crisp played unless I’m imagining things
I saw him once or twice. It's hard to judge the performance of players. You think they did SFA, then discover they only played a quarter or two. McCreery, for instance, with 5 disposals, seemed to be a star, but he had limited game time too.Crisp 100% played yesterday but did not get much of the Ball

Really good listen, specifically on Dan Houston. Speaks to how we probably misused Houston and at times need to move away from a system based game plan to allow players to flourish.
Also Barrett is as negative as it gets but doesn’t expect us to drop off as much as others. Backs our club and list.

Just repeating what Fly was saying Jen.We are a system based team so that’s not gonna happen
You can avoid media, you don’t respect, 12 months of the year.Ive avoided most of the media all summer. A few dumb ****s just assume were rooted and will drop off into oblivion. Then the rest of the mouth breathing sheep copy and pasted the same reasoning and they all have a echo chamber wank over it.
Looking at our possible round 1 line up we'll be balls deep in the season with a bit of luck. They haven't forgotten how to footy in 5 months or died of old age as the media narrative would have you believe.
This is supportive of what a few are saying but it doesn’t mean Fly or the coaching panel will see it that way so it may make no differenceReally good listen, specifically on Dan Houston . We were 3 games clear before resting.
We slid once we started resting.
Those are facts.
The other point of view is a wild guess.
Before the game I thought the key was Roan Steele shutting down McCluggage and from memory his running power was too much for Sidebottom (previous an ideal match up). Macrae needed to back Roan but end of the day Brisbane's dynamic hybrid mid/fwds killed us and the best side won. I think for us to go the next level the likes of Pendles, Sidebottom really need to compliment the side so we need the likes of an Allan, Anderson, Steele, Harrison, Prindable, Steene, Buller, West, McInness, Parker, Long, Cochran, Jiath. Bobby Hill coming back would be a huge plus.
Training on today?
The slow 36 year old is not the same as the slow 32 year old. He is getting caught with the ball more these days, making more skill errors, and the odd poor decision. What difference did it make make when Pendles was a slow 36 year old? Or slow 32 year old? Or slow 28 year old?

Houston will free Josh up to go on the ball. We would look to play through Josh as we were exiting the back half. With him going through the middle Houston will assume that rolePeople said the same about Schultz in his first season. Let’s give it time for Houston

I’m not sure how much mid time people are expecting but probably in rotation with pendles. How much mid- hb Josh splits remains to be seenHouston will free Josh up to go on the ball. At some stage he’ll become a liability. So far he hasn’t been though so until then I won’t be writing him off based on his age going up one.The slow 36 year old is not the same as the slow 32 year old. You can't argue that he hasn't declined to some degree. At some stage he will become a liability. I trust we all hoping that it is not this year.

Boyd said post game quite a few guys who played GWS may rest against North.Lot of changes in think. Nick and Josh, IQ, Lippa, Long, Perryman, Cameron, Schultz and Moore (if fit, seems unlikely). Thats 8-9 changes to the 26. Also all these would be expected to be in the starting group ie the 18 plus those.who will rotate in the early part.of.the game. They will need a hit out before NM.
If we want to compete against the best teams it will need to be at least 50 50I’m not sure how much mid time people are expecting but probably in rotation with pendles. How much mid- hb Josh splits remains to be seen
Would think Dan would need to play, his pre-training has been limited hasn't it? At least with match sims?Boyd said post game quite a few guys who played GWS may rest against North.
Guessing maybe Maynard Elliott Sidey Houston Crisp?
