I've had a close look at the stats for all the Ned Longs going round, & I'd have to agree.

Saw Josh walk into the club too this morning. For whatever reason, rehab? or whatever it causing him not to train this week
Why was I around? I got talked into coming to an early morning VFL session at 8am.. lol

Ed is entering his 4th season. Realistically the good ones are well entrenched in the seniors by now. He needs to have a big first couple of months I’m going to wait for season proper to judge as we’ve all been burnt before by pre season form.

Fair enough but recruiting and ultimate success are topics that are very closely related.

Yes. And the recruiting component is stacked against teams who are always up the top of the ladder. Sydney and us have maintained a top of the ladder list through the luck of being able to match stars with junk picks. Cats have maintained a top list through outstanding recruiting.

He can run, but you've got to be either good in congestion and contest or clean with the ball on the outside - and he's a fair way off either.

Like, I know we have experience in our midfield but ultimately ourmidfield is our biggest weakness so if you're not cementing yourself by your 4th year then I doubt you'll ultimately make it with us

Which is mildly annoying because I don't mind Ed
