Aha! MFC Website has put up dates now for public to go along and lurk on the boundary of training. Well, this date anyhow: Friday, 10 November - Gosch's Paddock - 9:30am.

Obviously I'm working at that time because I am totally busy and important and all. I'll do my best to persuade Ancient Demon to go as proxy and report back. If anyone fancies it do go along and be sure to report back in detail about who looks fat, who is puffing after a run, or just go crazy with overly optimistic reports about who has built themselves up into bull-type and will tear the game apart next year.

Also, do not under any circumstances park in that parking lot between AAMI and Gosch's Paddock. Scalpers.

Some players look smaller when you see them and some look bigger. CP looked like a unit in the flesh.

Comparing him to other MFC players I’d say he is 186, still some people grow in their early 20s so you may be right.

Were you comparing him to Clarry? Because I still maintain he's grown a fair bit more from his 187cm listing.

Yep with the proviso that you have to take a punt on the start time if they don't put it out there. They move around a bit in terms of morning or afternoon sessions so could be frustrating if you made the trip special like

Absolutely. If he is fit i'd be putting him at FF. He is exactly what we need based on watching the last two premiers, he brings a real level of aggression and versatility and i think he is in our best 22 for sure.

Yep, easy to forget, given he hasn't played in 12 months, but i seem to remember it being noticeable how much better our forward line functioned with AVB in it.

If I was someone like JKH and Bugg, I'd have been there early this morning. Plenty to prove for both, I wouldn't be wasting any opportunities.

I disagree actually, he made a very poor split second decision that cost him and the team dearly at the worst possible time, therefore I wanted him to front up to training day 1 to start to make amends, which he did. But I don't want him to change anything else, his campaigner-ness is one of his best assets.

Strictly speaking, I think it might be East Melbourne. I don't think Richmond is allowed to leak over Punt Road.
