just like robert shaw built the team for blighty
Bit different me thinks. Can i put it another way? United have had 41 injuries and are 4th. Pool have had 1 key injury. Both teams spent similar amounts on players. Which team is playing better. Did u watch the WC?

for actual news, it looks like madrid are going to sign cruzeiro midfielder lucas silva for at least 15 mil. seen him play once, in an u/20 tournament for brazil that i streamed once cos i was really bored. ran the show from defensive midfield.

Actually you guys spent 100 mil more than us, we had to sell to spend as much as we did, so a bit different
I wasn't talking about net spend per se but that's fine. I was trying to illustrate to Faith that maybe LVG is a little better than Faith gives him credit for. Being completely biaised, i think LVG has done a remarkable job considering the injuries and the low confidence the team had. Who the hell thought Fellaini would come good albeit on small sample size. I thought he'd be sold for peanuts. He's a great tactician.

I wouldn't worry about Faith and managers, last season she was all gungho about Rodgers being better than Mou and not needing a 100m to make a great side.

To be fair it has to be some sorta talent to spend 120 mil and be way shitter

As for my lot. Well Dec the 17th is a date im keeping my eye on. Hopefully that is the day we confirm that Martin Odegaard will be a Liverpool player.

As for first team business. Surely we throw a bit of money at Chelsea for Cech. He's not playing and he is too good not to be playing. I know everyone over at Chelsea are saying he isnt going anywhere but the least we can do is try.

If any kind of offer for Lovren came in, I wouldnt mind us doing a Robbie Keane on him. Borini can go too if any kind of offer came in also. That would be about it for out's I would say.

As for in's, id take another look at Shaqiri if possible. We need more pace and if Borini goes, another striker. January is sometimes not the best place to buy though so I guess we have to wait and see who is available and who we target.

I wouldnt be surprised though if we sold a couple of players but bought nobody. Not sure FSG wants to hand Rodgers anymore money.

Martin Odegaard sounds promising too, he's been training with us all week.

For anyone who hasn't seen him, exceptionally gifted and precocious playmaker in the Alen Halilovic mould. Only 15 years old but he's already been capped 3 times by the Norwegian senior national team - he was the youngest player in history (from any country) to play in a European Championship Qualifier.

It sounds as though we're his preference (big Liverpool supporter) but he's going to talk to a few different clubs before making a decision. If we sign him he will probably end up being one of those players who comes in, trains with the side for a bit before going out on loan for a season or 2 to continue developing. He's far too good for the youth leagues.
