Wenger should at least make them an offer too good to refuse. Abramovich can't be happy paying 100k+ a week for a reserve goalkeeper no matter how much money he has.
Of course you always have to at least ask the question. Then they will turn around and offer us their other reserve keeper....

Bayern won't pay what he's worth and I don't think Chelsea will bend over like Dortmund do when their players get tapped up.

He'd be a good fit for them though as he seems a bit similar to what they have

Just seen Arsenal vs Soton highlights. Mignolet has transferred his curse to Scezsny it seems. Arsenal should go all out for Cech this transfer window.
Mourinho would never sell to Wenger unfortunately.

Then again I thought the same of SAF/Wenger until RvP.

That's a bit harsh considering the position we were in. You could argue that we didn't bend by not selling Lewandowski to Bayern (only club he wanted to go to) a year early. M Götze also had a release clause that was activated, Dortmund didn't want to sell. In a way it is our fault for inserting release clauses into contracts (something which has apparently ceased).

Straight from Bruce's mouth apparently we're interested in Defoe. Tottenham B right here. Still, reckon he'd be good to get in on loan, but pretty expensive.
I know we were looking as well. Reckon he's been overrated by the clubs who want him. Especially at the price.

Haven't even looked at the price, how much would it set us back? I think he'd be best going to QPR, Harry would probably get the best out of him. Hernandez and Jelavic are really starting to gel now as well so don't know why we'd want to disrupt that.

Are you looking at a loan or permanent deal? His wages are rather high.

Arry came out and said he was too expensive. Bet he still ends up there though.

Would assume just a loan but who knows. Given we were paying Ben Arfa 50k a week surely he wouldn't be on a heap more than that?

4-6 weeks ago I, and most other Spurs fans, would have been desperate for a first-team striker to come immediately into the team as Adebayor's a head-case, Soldado just can't do it in the Premiership and Kane was still developing in the cups and off the bench. Being linked with the likes of Benteke and Bony was perfect.
Now, however, with the meteoric rise of Harry Kane I still think we need a striker but not a first team one. We need cover for Kane though because if he gets injured/loses form we are well and truly ****** in terms of centre-forward options. Love the fact we're linked with Ings as he seems a quality young player but I don't think he'll leave Burnley until the end of the season. Apart from that I don't really know who else we should go for that is reasonably cheap and happy to come off the bench.
Most importantly for Spurs in January though is to clear out some dead wood, particularly the players - Capoue, Kaboul, Adebayor and Lennon - that haven't bought into Poch's methods and were responsible for a dressing room argument with the younger guys after the Newcastle loss.
We also need cover in central midfield for Bentaleb who is heading off to the ACON and the recently injured Ryan Mason. The links to Adrien Rabiot from PSG on loan in that regard is perfect. A quality centre-half wouldn't go astray either with Kaboul and Chiriches unlikely to see first-team action or be at the club and Dier being inexperienced. Links with Hector Moreno and Raul Albiol also good here as well.

Nallad have you seen how shit Ivanovic is? We need Willian to cover for Brana's laziness in getting back.

Or we could just play Azpi at right back. Wouldn't that be a dream.
Yep I have. Would love to see Luis and Azpi together. Cahill, Willian and Ivanovic not up to it at the moment.

According to Wenger Inter have made a "Serious bid" for Poldolski"

“The first proposal was farcical, after they came back a bit more serious, then we will see what happens now.

“Inevitable? Not in the transfer market, it’s very difficult to say, but we’ll see later.”
