According to Di Marzio Liverpool have submitted a bid of €14m (£11m) for Shaqiri. We have yet to formally speak to his agent though we were negotiating with him during the summer, so I'm guessing we're confident of getting him to agree to terms once we've worked out a fee. If you flick through his tweets you'll see that back in July Shaqiri favourited a few articles discussing a move to Liverpool, in addition to a tweet from a Liverpool supporter asking 'what was taking him so long', so it seems as though he's going to be open to a move.
Inter appear to be out of the running having opted for Podolski instead.
Juventus are still in the race but are being typically Italian in their negotiating, only offering Bayern a loan deal with no guaranteed option to buy at this stage. Given Shaqiri's contractual situation it seems unlikely that Bayern would agree to sell to Juve unless they improve that offer.
In the end though it will likely come down to the players personal preference of destination, fingers crossed that's Liverpool as I think he'd be a good fit for us and vice versa.
