As a Championship player he's a fantastic striker, so I'm absolutely happy that we've got him. Add to that the history with the club.
While his record in the Championship is almost 1 in 2 (from only 48 games he's actually played in that division), his record outside of that is really poor.

Will be interesting to see how he goes back in the Championship. Hope for your sake he bangs them in though.

Good thing this season we're in the Championship then. :P If we're sitting here in 12 months worrying about how he'll handle the PL for us then I'll be quite ok with that. :D

I'm happy you're happy with Campbell but I'm also sad that you're happy about Campbell haha. You deserve much better than you're currently getting.

As for the Faith comments, I did chuckle at them. But then seeing Leicester win a title was absolutely insane. I don't know I could/would have felt the same way about it if I were supporting a club in the top 4 etc. I'll never know of course but just a gut feel.

On top of that, I have an absolute love affair with the Championship. Even this coming season, I'll watch more championship football than I will Premier League.

Remember when we got promoted, we would've been ecstatic to have Campbell for 4m, only for the bugger to reject us because he thought we were going to be relegated?

How things change.

I'm with you about Campbell. Happy for Hull to get him, yet I think Hull deserve so much better.

And those Faith comments. Well… to be fair, I thought Leicester won the league in 2000, when I first had my first taste of Leicester action (and to this day, remain the only two Leicester games that I have been at the ground to see.)

Honestly, the journey is a lot more fun when you work your way up from League 1, especially after you’ve seen it happen, and have had the results that we’ve had. I guess that’s why I identify a lot with Andy King and the journey. It makes the victory all the sweeter!

You might have been but that certainly wasn't me! Haha

I hope Andy King never leaves to be honest. I have so much man love for the guy :D

Well, getting in some decent price on the cheap would've been very nice.

Then again... we do have the Nicky Maynard saga... oh boy.

Same. I think it would be great if Kingy became Birch's successor. I too hope he never leaves, and becomes a one-club man.

Nicky Maynard! Oooo boy does that bring back some memories on the Foxes Forum hahaha.

Indeed. That was nuts back in the day. Our biggest transfer saga is someone who pretty much disappeared after he went to West Ham if I recall correctly. Bullet dodged there.

Also, wanted to say this... the Neymar transfer? Surely not. It wouldn't happen for 222m Euros, would it? These oilers have plenty of cents, but not sense if true.

So much for the English being crazy.

Hurry up and get this done already! Surely by now we've got this. ~

The future is now!
I certainly hope so! I get more nervous about this the longer it drags on.

Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Ajax defender Jairo Riedewald for 8m.

Can't say I know anything about him.
Football manager fans will. A Jan Vertonghen type CB who can play in midfield. If he is half as good as JV palace have done well

At least I think the signings we've made, the players will go into the starting eleven.

The ones from last season all ended up just being depth players really.
Who'd you sign last summer again?

I remember thinking at the time you did well but can't really remember why!

Ajax have certainly produced some very decent CB's over the years. Can see why they'd be purchasing from there.

Not sure if he is a kid-beast but my only worry is he may not handle the physicality that well and may get thrown around. Wouldn't surprise me if de Boer uses him in midfield to ease him into things
