Chef said that we had spent £350m on defenders in the past 3 years. Then he said we had spent £250m on defenders in the past 3 windows.

Neither statement was correct even if you include keepers in the definition of defenders. But it wasnt chefs posts that sum up this place for me.

Not really. I don't think you can expect to win a league title. Too many good sides and good squads and too many variables.

I expect a much better challenge than last year, and will be disappointed if we don't win. But wouldnt call the season a failure if it doesnt happen.

No one was being unreasonable, this is just yet another example in a long line of you being overly reactionary to people mentioning or discussing the amount of money City spends, and then rounding off the figures being discussed - which is not done to paint you badly, but just for simplicity.

You seem recently to jump in and complain a lot without adding much of substance to the board, other than snarky remarks or to complain about others who want to discuss your club.

I wasn't trying to upset you, just stating that you have spent 250m odd on defenders in the last 3 years(maybe windows wassn't the right way to put it). Which true seems true if you look it up(and keepers are defenders IMO)

I'm not sure whats the big deal about that TBH as you've got the money so why not spend it. We can do the same.

My posts to chef were polite. They werent reactionary or snide. I certainly don't have a problem with anything he said then or before.

Normally I'd be happy to carry on that discussion and have a proper in depth on City, it's why I started posting on here.

But when others weigh in, invariably posting about me instead of the topic being discussed I'm just not interested. I've got no interest in conversations that turn nasty, or personal or the constant attempts to take the piss.
