For Arsenal fans the hate stems not only from the Cesc/Bellerin tapping up but also their despicable antics on the field. From what I can tell you guys haven't played Barca in a competitive fixture for 30+ years, play them over 2 legs in the UCL and see if you still don't hate them.

Don't forget fullbacks are just failed wingers or failed centre backs. Both Walker and Rose are previous failures in other positions who are envious of talents like Dele Alli who they had to Google when he joined

Personally, I don't think we'll sell him until this time next year. It would be shocking for PR to sell the two best fullbacks in the league to the two Manchester Clubs before we've brought a single player in this transfer window.

Also, what does it say to rest of the squad if Rose is sold after this outburst? That they can just go running to the press and then they'll get sold and rewarded with a ~100k a week pay increase?

Danny Rose has the support of his teammates apparently

Graham Roberts has said on twitter that the Sun's report about the players was bullshit, and the manager and players were furious with him for going to the press and it coming out a few days before the season started.

Mind you, he's probably no more trustworthy than the Sun.

I tend to think that it's probably true that more than one player has had these thoughts and may have even discussed it privately with a couple of teammates, but I doubt the applause and the hero's welcome stuff is true.

I do think it puts Levy's words on sustainability into context.

Understandable why they do it, but next to impossible to sustain a stretch at the top. Fans won't like it bit selling players is about the only way to build a squad.

What annoys me is we are one season away from being on a level playing field and now he complains?

He was ok to sign a 5 year deal 12 months ago when we were 24 months away from being on a level playing field. I get it to an extent if there's no new stadium and revenue streams on the horizon but we're going to over double out matchday revenues next season and he wants to sook up now. Poor form. Unless there's a public apology I don't want to see him play another game for us. And that's saying a lot he was probably my 2nd or 3rd favourite player when he was fit last season

Poch needs to get tough on whoever and can't fold over.
