What annoys me is we are one season away from being on a level playing field and now he complains?

He was ok to sign a 5 year deal 12 months ago when we were 24 months away from being on a level playing field. I get it to an extent if there's no new stadium and revenue streams on the horizon but we're going to over double out matchday revenues next season and he wants to sook up now. Poor form. Unless there's a public apology I don't want to see him play another game for us. And that's saying a lot he was probably my 2nd or 3rd favourite player when he was fit last season
I've always said that I don't care if someone wants to leave. More opportunity, more money, I'm not fussed.

But there are ways and means, and when you start pissing the club about you're done as far as I'm concerned.

Only one or two exceptions for me.

Agree

Poch needs to get tough on whoever and can't fold over.

Sell in the future, but **** dealing with a shitstorm now on the eve of the season.

Also, did Rose do an ACL? Been out for ******* ages
I believe it's been something like an ACL that they hoped he could maybe get back from at the end of last season so never sent him in for a reco. What they tried looked promising early on and late March was the expected return date but just as he got back to training it came about that it didn't work and they fixed both problems then giving him 6 months to recover from + the 3 months wasted trying to get over it.

9 months with a knew injury Is very long

Seeing Walker who is a lesser player on $170k/week has pushed him over the edge. Pretty desperate for a player to go to the media and dump a load of shit on his club. He definitely wants out and you'd be Kidding yourself if you thought his teammates aren't supporting him.

It's his comments saying Poch and Steve Hitchen (chief scout) aren't doing there job properly that really should be the end of him.

Then throwing in he hasn't forgotten the fans who were on his back before Poch arrived. Well let's also not forget that before Poch arrived he was bang average lol

You think you know everything on this. Yours is just an opinion like everyone else who isn't privy to what's really going on. Such bluster

For Arsenal fans the hate stems not only from the Cesc/Bellerin tapping up but also their despicable antics on the field. From what I can tell you guys haven't played Barca in a competitive fixture for 30+ years, play them over 2 legs in the UCL and see if you still don't hate them.
Meh

Sure you'd be annoyed about them regularly targeting your best, but surely you'd be wary that clubs like them and Bayern are far superior onfield, so beating them would be unlikely?

We felt a lot of angst towards Real Madrid after they sold Ozil to you once we sold Bale. I always knew Bale was going late and Levy spent before he bought. The Modric deal was a disgrace though with the way he acted on his agents orders, didn't bother rocking up to preseason IIRC. But at the end of the day, they're the biggest club in the world, so not much you can do once they come knocking.

he is The last of the old brigade that includes Lennon walker and Townsend who've fallen out with the club and Poch. All were there before him and rightly none will be there after him

Absolutely spot on. Kane might stay but Alli, Toby and Eriksen will realise they could be winning trophies and earning big cash elsewhere. Think the big five will pick them apart the next couple of windows now that Walker has seen the light.

walker's ability has suddenly dropped alot since his transfer

The paper he talked to doesn't have the greatest reputation either and are known for their sensationalist bullshit.

Imo he's frustrated with a lack of ambition moreso. Sure he'd be envious of Walker getting paid double/triple what he does, but Walker had enough and took the easy way out, if the guys who stay help win us something then I'm sure they'll be idolised by many, but Levy has to pull his finger out and sign someone.

Jordan Ibe, I mean Trippier has become world class too.

Perhaps, but Liverpool have copped it themselves on the other side of the spectrum with VVD and Keita.

Considering the hard stance from Ligue 1 and Bundesliga clubs in Monaco, Dortmund and Leipzig, I reckon you guys have done ok getting Lacazette who is by far the most proven player out of those leagues to move/be linked with a move imo and he's by far not the most expensive.
I think Salah might prove better value. Cheaper than Laca and coming from a tougher league than the weaker Ligue 1.

Comfortably the best RB in the league last two seasons. I seriously LOL when I see people trying to say that Valencia was better. But Rose is a much better player than Walker imo.

I actually don't mind Trippier though. He's not as pacy and powerful as Walker, but he offers us something different. He's more technical, comfortable on the ball and his delivery is superb. Doesn't have the same capacity as Walker though to deal with the tricky wingers. He's done reasonably well on Hazard before, but Martial tore him to shreds at WHL last season.
