One-season loan with an option to buy. I heard the option to buy fee is around £15-20M.

People also forget that if your spending £60m on a transfer for a player, then paying £150k a week in wages for 5 years you've effectively made a £100m signing (signing on fees + 5 years of wages). Yes, it's not all paid for up front but it still needs to be budgeted and accounted for over a period. Businesses, and that's what modern football clubs are, don't just plan financially year by year.

Correct, or their children will take on masculine and feminine names too depending on their sex.
