I'm not fussed if we get Alexis or not.

I think Pep wants him and by all accounts Alexis is only interested in a move to City.

But if that changes we'll move on and get someone else.

If Arsenal believe they can get Alexis to sign a new contract then I'd imagine they'll do everything they can to make that happen. But that is all about strengthening them, not weakening us.

Everything coming out of the club and from sources close to the club say he is staying and they will try and get him to sign a new contract. I don't think he is sold this window but have no idea if he will still be here in 12 months time. My prediction is you pick him up on a free next season, but a lot can change before then (ie. if Pep somehow gets sacked, although unlikely, that could change Alexis' decision).

Just saw Johnny Evans to Man City is a possibility. Nothing really wrong with that, he's gotten a lot better playing at Brom and would be one of the best defenders outside the top 6 if people have bothered to watch him recently.

Dembele maybe. Dortmund set a price of €150m euros. Barca are trying to negotiate that down as Dembele is a 20 year old with 1 seasons experience in the Bundesliga.

Coutinho no. Ballague has said FSG will not even open discussions about a transfer with Coutinho. It took FSG all of 35 minutes to reject their last bid of £100m. Unlikely he goes this window.

Barca have been saying It's a done deal for weeks. Bit hard to agree a transfer when you can't even speak to the club you are buying the player from.
