Looking back at his career so far, he's been such a disappointment.

But has a lot of talent and could come good away from the Arsenal mess.

Not sure I'd pay £40m though. About half that for his potential or sit out and get him on a free next season.

Dortmund reportedly sign Jeremy Toljan for 5 mil Euros. Going the other way to TSG is Passlack on 2 yr loan. Great news for BVB

Monaco are such a well-run club. Terrific business done today prior to Mbappe's departure to Paris. The way in which they and also Atleti operate should be what Kroenke/the Arsenal board attempt to replicate.

Not sure how they survive without Bakayoko to be honest. The rest are easily replaceable.

Nice theory but when David Ornstein says something about Arsenal you know it's 100% true. Ox clearly thinks Liverpool is his best chance to play CM, he might be wrong but that is why he wants to go there.
Yeah fair enough, I'm sure Klopp and Conte have both promised they'd give him opportunity in the centre if his performances were up to standard.

I'm just saying that in reality as with Milner, he's unlikely to start regularly in a midfield 3 with our options as they stand, and moreso with the addition of Keita next season. Personally have him behind all of them as a CM on exposed form, but happy to be proven wrong! Maybe he steps up a level in a Liverpool shirt, maybe he's a better fit for our style than Arsenal's, maybe Klopp can extract more out of him than Wenger has, who knows.

In any case, I've been pretty consistent over the last few months that I think wherever he fits in he'd be a good signing and is very much in the style of player that suits Klopp's system. Mobile, strong, aggressive, skillful. I'd like us to sign him, but I have my doubts that he'd instantly be a key player in central midfield for us.
