It isn't the world cup, it's players like Milner and Ox and even Beckham and Gerrard who try to dictate where they should play. Milner moved to us coz we promised him central midfield even though he's crap there, seemingly doing the same with Ox. Beckham wanted to play central midfield at one stage even though he was crap at it, Gerrard wanting central mid after being player of the season on the right

Always the bloody English players
Ah Beckham, now there's one player who's hype far outstripped his ability.

Foyth done. Staggering to spend 75m on defenders with the best defence the last two seasons. What we had cost less than that combined.
Now a couple of attacking players please Daniel.
We needed to though. Foyth as a CCV replacement, Sanchez for Wimmer and hopefully Aurier for Walker. Levy will have made a profit all told as well on those three deals.

5 CB's in the first team squad. You'd imagine back 3 will be used often, especially once we get improved width on the left when Rose is fit.
Must say Aurier/Rose is a little more relaxing than Trippier/Davies for the Bernabéu.

Now time to push the boat out a little and sign 1-2 players to compliment the front 4.

Sky sources understand Liverpool have agreed a fee with Arsenal to sign Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

We understand the deal is worth in the region of £40m.

The two clubs came to an agreement in the last hour.

The 24-year-old, who is currently with England at St George’s Park, will shortly undergo a medical.

Personal terms are yet to be agreed but it’s expected they won’t be a problem. It is likely to be a six-year deal.

From Sky....

40m for Ox, take that every day of the week. Now just to get Theo out the door.

******* lol Liverpool.

The window was going well. Then we make our new record signing, a squad player.

Considering Keita is yet to officially arrive. Ox will now become Liverpool's record signing. He had on year left on his deal and isnt better than any of our current midfielders.

The mind boggles.

Ben Smith among others saying £35m. Not our record. Also saying Lemar not over yet.
