They should've brought in Silva ages before deadline day before Drinkwater was sold, it can be very difficult to push transfers through on deadline day coming from abroad, much easier to do within the same country where the same work permits and what not apply.

Totally is, and they should be sacked.

The big problen was Silva never really considered until those dying hours. Drinkwater was not meant to be going anywhere. I have no idea why we agreed to it. Worst yet, how the hell do you end up in that place. Just... how? How does one manage to get to this level of fail? The window between legal transfer and registration... just... what.

Why would you prioritise the release of a player over getting one in if you're in the middle?

Don't take it the wrong way, I know Danny's injured at the moment, I'm just disappointed about the whole thing.

The three things:

1. The player's situation - Is there any legit reason as to why he literally can't play anywhere? This situation is beyond unheard of. Is he even allowed to play U23s in the Checkatrade? I know we have Hammond training with us, while being a free agent, yet we can't do a thing about Silva? I think a part of that is club enforced, but at the same time, FIFA did say something about that.

I would even take him playing at Derby or Forest if it meant he got vital game time for the sake of his career. Why does he have to be the one to suffer?

2. FIFA - I'm glad you're throwing the book for once, but what ever happened to a player's best interest? You're just making us into an example, because if this was a bigger club, you'd just sanction them. Even if you didn't, you wouldn't put a player into limbo just like that.

I'm going to be holding onto this standard being applied equally. This better mean the turnaround of a new FIFA.

3. Leicester - You thought your club failed at transfers? Here at Leicester, we laugh at your failures and show you that things could be a loooot worse. Only at Leicester could one give up two CMs on the same day, while fail to get their target. Only at Leicester could they manage to get the absolute worst possible position by having enough time to buy you and become legally ours, and then fail to get the registration done. I saw a quite that 20 mins is a legit reason, 5 mins over, you don't give a damn.

Need I remind you that Sky actually caught our staff being incompetent. The staff member was seen clearly forgetting something important. When you think about the fact that we missed out by 14 seconds... oh boy.

We have basically killed any chances of us getting players on deadline day, we have proven that we will screw things up, and if you're another club, come take advantage, because we will prioritise you guys getting what you want, while ensuring we do everything in our power to make sure we don't get our replacement.

Fax Machine? At least De Gea was able to play on at United, and not left in a state of 'not being able to play because your club screwed you.' How many cases of 'player being unable to play for any club' have you heard of that has actually carried through.

Rudkin's at the top, and he needs to go. This is beyond unacceptable.



We deserve EVERYTHING we get, but it shouldn't come at the cost of a player's career.

Apparently we are heavily scouting FM fave Carlos Soler from Valencia with a view to a January transfer. Should be relatively straightforward if Andy P is included in the deal.

Luke Shaw's United days are done and dusted. He'll be off with a replacement LB coming in January. No idea who at this stage. Would rather promote Lee O'Connor but that's just me.
