Been reading a lot of Emre Can rumours too. Thought he was nailed on for Juve tbh. Not sure he's got what it takes tbh.
Wouldn't even make your bench.

He's been rumoured to be going everywhere... Juve, Bayern, BVB, City. I think he will end up back in Germany.

Good stuff by the club to low ball him with a contract offer and then let his contract run down so we lose him for free.

What exactly was the lowball offer?

He wanted 100k a week and we probs offered 60k or something.

Personally I would have given him the money because we've got guys in and around the starting lineup on similar cash.

He also wanted a release clause and we rejected that proposal.

Some authority? How the **** would I know anymore than you would? Haha... It's just an opinion. We all get the same information.
Absolutely mate.

Probably worth a punt. He can be really frustrating at times but I really do think he's on his way to becoming a top class midfielder. If anyone could get it out of him it'd probably be Guardiola.

He did have him as a kid at Bayern though and sold him so he obviously wasn't that keen on him back then.

None of the clubs he is linked with would accept a release clause so I am happy we are not budging in that regard.

80k rising to 110k should be enough to get a deal done. If not so be it IMO.

There will be no deal. If there was one, it would be done by now. He will walk in the summer. Bayern or Juve are my picks. Wont stay in England.

Can't see Spurs giving up Rose for Shaw and Lingard. They're about £20m down on that deal.

If I was them I'd work something involving Shaw though. But would leave Lingard out of it, really doesnt offer a lot as a footballer.

All it has to be is a conditional agreement, even if it's at a later date also. Just needs to be a link, not necessarily paperwork but jodly so he clearly knows lol. ;)

They don't have a choice. We have first rights of English clubs, yes I remember your reply last time we had this conversation and I paid it as little regard as I will now.

Moot anyway as I doubt they sell him.

Would Levy be prepared to pay Bale's wages and meet Real's transfer valuation?

Bale is going on 29 and is injury prone. Plenty of rumours they want to sell but you' think it would be a fee in the 60-70m region. Apparently Bale has a 75m buyout fee but that would be a stretch too far for Levy.

IMO only City & Utd can meet the demands of both Bale & RM.

I think he would atm. Only Dinho really for that dm role. Maybe Delph if he stays (presume he will). Yaya will be gone.

But I do expect us to strengthen that position in the summer.

fully expect can to re sign with liverpool. his agent is just putting in a lot of legwork.

besides, the ultra impressive douglas luiz is more than likely dinho's replacement. not sure if he did qualify for a work permit.

Spurs get: Shaw + Cash
Man United get: Rose
Tranmere Rovers get: Lingard + Cash

What about Gundogan?

Why is there rumours about Rose? Does he want out because he doesn't want to play with people he has to google?
Pochettino is harder on Shaw in his book than LVG or Mou were but thst doesn't fit the narrative.
Wouldn't surprise me. He's a hardarse, you cross him and you are gone. jd2010 posted this as a rumour in Poch's first season, later hinted as being true by spurs ITK Ben Kilpatrick (ESPN) in a tweet but can't seem to find it now.

Nearly all were sold in the following summer, Ade wasn't as we couldn't find a buyer on his wages and couldn't get a loan as WHU had maxed out on loans. RossFC this is why I think in Jan/Summer Rose will be gone. Despite being like a father to him he's crossed him and likely will be pushed like the rest were. Helps that Davies has come on this season also, makes it easier to cut him loose.

Those young players that rebelled against the laziness all seemed to get games after that whilst the old ****ers rode the pine. Funny coincidence if it is not true wouldn't you say?
There is a rumour doing the rounds over here at the moment that after the Stoke game there was a Kane vs Ade fight. Kane has had enough of the older brigade coasting and not doing all the extra sessions Poch has set out, Kaboul in his powers as captain thought it would be a good idea to bring it up with Poch but thought the Ade group had a bigger pull in the dressing room so sided with him. Poch disagreed and sided with Kane and dropped Kaboul, Ade & Capoue from the squad for Hull, Lennon also believed to one in question but Poch gave him the chance to explain his siding and apparently was being loyal to his friend but had no problems with Kane's viewpoint. Alleged sides Team Ade (Kaboul, Capoue, Adebayor, Lennon) Team Kane (Mason, Dier, Eriksen, Kane, Bentaleb, Townsend) the rest stayed out of it.

No idea of the truth to the rumour but Poch did say Kaboul was out for 'personal reasons'
You'd want Shaw? That would be a bit of a downgrade on Rose.
Why not? Who made Lovren, Lallana, Schneiderlin, Shaw, Wanyama, Chambers targets for top 6 clubs? And barring Lallana they've all now stagnated or regressed for various reasons.

He's a downgrade now, get him back under Poch and watch and see. Wouldn't be surprised if he got him back to good form (if given the chance). Don't know how but he's damn good at training defenders.
Rumours from good sources that Danny Rose for Lingard and Shaw will happen in January.

Wages would be an issue.
I can see us selling him, would prefer not go for Lingard though. He's not really good enough for you and if he's not good enough for Utd then he's not good enough for us either, we have the same goals as you now. League title.

Knew I liked you. Some awesome bloke thinks the same ;):D
Just give us Shaw and a bit of cash, thanks all the same.

That's the million dollar question, wage bill will grow at a higher rate soon but doubt it'd be at a rate to get Bale on his Madrid level wages.
That said given his injuries I'd be reluctant to take him, would hate a rival to grab him though. Tough choice.

No chance mate. He would have signed by now if he was going to. Almost nailed on he walks for nothing in the summer.

Not even any on going talks. It's just all died down. Apparently both camps are miles apart.

Can was impatient and wanted to play first team. not sure if Pep didnt rate him or not.

Oops. Forgot about him. [emoji16]

My spurs mates over here reckon Rose was pretty casual with his rehab, came back overweight and has an attitude problem now.

For all the shit people give Jesse Messi he's good as your 20th player, just not in your first XI. All teams need depth, particularly Spurs. Not sure whether he'd take a paycut to leave United and move to London given he's a manc. It's not like Poch is going to guarantee him more game time.
