What a signing that would be.
Disappointed to lose him but the lure of money is just too much. At least it will e out of the road early enough and we can target others now. Darmian and Matuidi would be a good start

Douglas Costa.

Di Marzio has said that we are close to Fabinho and have offered 50 million euros for him
And apparently according to Marca, talks have opened for Morata who has informed RM that he wants to leave.

Sounds like we'll double his wage. Not many better LB/LWB around so will be a very good buy.

Not really relevant. Many other clubs can offer similar or better wages.

Zenit is a huge step down from Roma.

1) Zenit's owners (Gazprom) could probably afford to buy the PL and every club in it and still make a massive profit. When it comes to being able to pay stupid money for players, they're in rarefied air.

2) I absolutely agree with your comment that Zenit are a huge step down from Roma, but money talks. Also helps that they're fairly cosy with a lot of South American agents and so they can get players to go there easier than most other places (remember reading about this from a Benfica fan somewhere when Wolves got taken over by Fosun).

it's gas money, not oil money.

"Gazprom is a global energy company focused on geological exploration, production, transportation, storage, processing and sales of gas, gas condensate and oil, sales of gas as a vehicle fuel, as well as generation and marketing of heat and electric power."

Please please please be true about Fabinho. At this stage he's the only DM I can get on board with, especially when the other option is Matic. No thank you.
or worse, that spud faux tough guy Dier

Given the importance of wing backs in your current system, would be an outstanding pick up. Seems a perfect fit and as well as they did last season, huge upgrade on Moses/Alonso.

Yep. If we want to give the UCL a shake we need to upgrade a few positions and the wingbacks are one of these areas. Plus we also need depth in these areas, so a RWB should be on the cards as well hopefully(Alves would have been perfect).
