It's not a difficult concept to understand. Club A has no say over a player contracted to club B who sells to club C. Simple as that. Once again as I have stated buyout clauses are only useful if both the player and the club that owns him are happy to go along with it. Which is exactly the reason you quoted in the Alderwereld scenario when Atletico were actually obliged to sell him to Soton for 6.8m.

Soton threatened legal action but were unable to do anything and they also had an agreement with Alderwereld himself.

Donnarumma has had a terrible tournament IMO, He's been affected about his contract situation, He doesn't need this distraction at 18 years old.

Hopefully everything gets sorted this week, His father will be in all meetings with Milan this week, Gigio's dad Alphonso has a good relationship with Montella who sat down earlier this week at Gigio's families request apparently Raiola hated that.

walker and mendy are still the targets. alves and mendy are apparently basically done. spurs holding out for the best price for walker.

bertrand is less likely. dont think he'll have any interest in competing with mendy in a world cup year.

Why not Liverpool. Erm... not sure if srs.
So you obviously didn't read the whole sentence.

We've won shit loads of trophies back in the days also. Fact is, we are both having barren runs

The fact is Liverpool have won one league cup in the last eleven campaigns. That is diabolical for a club of their supposed stature.
