Exactly what you'd expect any CEO to be saying in this scenario.
Keita has come back to Leipzig a week early, apparently to get the wheels moving on this. He wants the move and if it hasn't happened already I'd imagine he'll be communicating that to the club shortly, whether it's next year for his €50m release clause (potentially to Bayern) or this year to Liverpool for a €20-30m premium on top of that.
We've been on the receiving end of this a few times in recent years, and we're significantly wealthier as a club than Leipzig are. The player will put a bit of pressure on and Liverpool will keep increasing their offer until they find a price that doesn't 'bore' this guy.
Id like to apologise for the embarrassing crap being posted from LFC supporters recently. Are you guys wealthier than the red bull company? Or just more deluded?
That seems very optimistic. They have no need to sell and they continue to suggest they won't.Exactly what you'd expect any CEO to be saying in this scenario.

Liverpool have a clearly identifiable trend of struggling in alternate years when they have to juggle Europe and the PL.
2012/13 with EL: 7th
13/14 no Europe: 2nd
14/15 with CL: 6th
15/16 with EL: 8th
16/17 no Europe: 4th
17/18 with CL: ??
Given Liverpools struggles with this and the players Everton have signed I can see them usurping the Reds of a place in the top 6 and coming out of the season as the top side on Merseyside. They already have a better GK, a significantly (and it's even close) better defence and better CM's.

Keita to Liverpool confirmed.
Keeping Keita and qualifying for the UCL again next season would be worth more to Leipzig than the premium they get for selling him to Liverpool this window. They can always ask to renegotiate his contract and increase the release clause for next season as well, same way Suarez did.He wants the move and if it hasn't happened already I'd imagine he'll be communicating that to the club shortly, whether it's next year for his €50m release clause (potentially to Bayern) or this year to Liverpool for a €20-30m premium on top of that.
Also feel free to link me to a source that says that Keita is unhappy at Leipzig
Gab Marcotti, Raph Honigstein and several other reputable sources have said he wants to move to Liverpool. Furthermore, that he has an agreement in principle with us.
According to them, the only barrier at this stage (and a significant one at that!) is going to be determining a fee that satisfies Leipzig.
The fact that to date, their record signing is €10m Timo Werner, and their plans for this window consist of signing players like Laimer (free) and spending €10-20m on young forwards like Bruma and Karmoh tells me that as big a business as Red Bull are, it's not unreasonable to think that Leipzig's capacity to add quality to their squad this window would be significantly enhanced by having an extra €70m in their pockets.
