Hahah a future top 6 side? What about all the other duds Watford have though??

Where the **** did I mention Watford?

And to clarify:

1) Fosun make most PL owners look like peasants with the amount of money they have.

2) Jorge Mendes=Jorge Mendes. If he can convince Ruben Neves, Helder Costa and Nuno to all go to the Championship, he could probably achieve world peace by the end of his life time.

3) I think Nuno is fair garbage as a manager but then again he would be better then just about anyone in the PL.

4) Their academy is jizz inducing with the talent that's come out of it recently (Iorfa, Hause, Burgoyne, Gibbs-White) and more are expected as well. It's the 3rd best in England as well.

They're going to be top 6 one day.

The difference between Pickford and Mignolet is negligible at best apart from distribution where Pickford kills him. I'd take Pickford over Mignolet because of that but there is no massive gulf in class between them. I think Mignolet is a bit underrated and I say that as someone who's not a massive fan of his. People act like he's one of the worst keepers in the league but he's not.

As a regular watcher of both, Pickford shits on Mingolet, and I like Mingolet. Pickers can absolutely be world class one day. Don't think a lot of Mackems thought the same for Mingolet to be honest and he spent more time here.

I'm also not having that Gueye, Schneiderlin, McCarthy & Barry are better than Henderson, Lallana, Wijnaldum & Can.

You're right because Hendo shits on them all.

I've said before that I really like Pickford, and if you offered me a swap I'd take it. He should be England's number 1. But right now from what I've seen I'm not sure that there's a discernible gulf in class between the two. I don't see one saving a heap more points than the other.

I'd say they both right now are very good keepers, but Pickford has way more scope for improvement and that his distribution is a lot better.

And to be honest, apart from Man City (I've never seen their new keeper), Mignolet is the worst keeper in the top 6. But outside of that I'd probably back him to be at least equal with anyone. He's not that bad.

I can agree with all of that. Ederson is probably the next De Gea and his game against Dortmund in the UCL showed he's good at distribution and making a save, so there's that. With Mingolet, it's just that there's nothing that stands out with his play. Also doesn't help that he's made a few blunders. He's your run of the mill shot stopper, but he's a very good one (think Ben Foster who I rate fairly well). Someone on here said he's mid table quality like Gomes and I thought **** off. If your team has aspirations of playing in Europe, Mingolet is fine. Anything above that and yeah an upgrade would be needed.

I'd pick Pickers over Mingolet because he's already just as good if not a bit better, with the added bonus of awesome distribution, and he's a lot younger, and as you said, can only get better because of his age.

Not sure if it's a hint for our transfer activity or not but spurs official Facebook page posting videos of the best of Gylfi Siggurdson. Wonder if a bid is coming

The only worry you would have is mentality. Can he ball watch for 89 minutes, then make a world class save in the 90th minute to preserve the 3 points. It's much different playing for a big club. Less saves to make, more concentration because of the lack of shots against him, more pressure.

I'm more than happy with Mignolet at the moment, he had a sneakily good last six months.

 o_O Would have thought you'd require better concentration when you're constantly having to deal with more shots

Keita has come back to Leipzig a week early, apparently to get the wheels moving on this.

No he is back for the start of Pre Season Training as per schedule. While it doesn't rule a move in or out, it does discredit wherever you got that information from for not bothering to check their facts.

Pickdord absolutely does not shit on Mignolet. He was error ridden and gave away heaps of cheap goals for Sunderland last season. If he was better Klopp would look at signing him and he had no interest at all in signing Pickford. He does have potential and is young. Might reach the current level Mignolet is currently at a few seasons down the track and keep going.

Messi set to sign a new contract with Barca when he returns to pre-season training on the 15th.

Rumored to be £500k a week, which after tax is £500k a week

"Der Guinese ist schon in Leipzig, eine Woche vor seinem eigentlichen Trainingsstart. Ungewöhnlich."

Which no doubt surfaced because of this article

http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spor...iverpool-transfer-rumours-rb-leipzig-13277627

"German newspaper BILD report that the Guinea international has returned to training earlier than his team-mates, which they admit is 'unusual' - but they say no such meeting between Keita and Leipzig's directors has taken place."

As said by others above BILD isn't that much of a trusted source for news in Germany. Both the Bundesliga and Leipzig have the return date for pre season for the club on their websites, so not that hard to double check before running with the story. But that wasn't the point of the article in the Echo I'll admit.

But also nice to see the Echo get the spelling of Leipzig's Sporting Director name down pat "Ralph Rangwick" ;):p

How reliable are bild exactly for non Bayern rumours. Not long ago hinted we were signing Ginter..... Now at Gladbach so yeah

Compared to The Times/Guardian? No idea. They seem to be the quoted source just about every time a German player/club is involved though, is there another major German paper that reports on football and is considered to be more reliable?

Also as a more general point, just because a club doesn't sign a player doesn't mean they were never interested in him.

?

I think that's the Echo quoting Bild rather than the other way around.

Kicker on a national level, but the regional papers such as Stuttgart Zeitung on a club by club basis.

Yase, any player Liverpool doesn't sign = not good enough for Liverpool.
