Our CEO Fassone reckons we have a significant amount of the budget still available, This would include sales. Our SD Mirabelli said to expect a few more surprise signings.

After Conti becomes official, Should be done within the week, We would have spent around €150M to upgrade the quality of the squad. Few sources in Italy especially Alfredo Pedulla who is a good friends of Mirabelli think we will have €120M left €60M expected sales and €60M initial budget to play with.

Before the market started the talk was €200M net spend so it seems pretty close to that.

I guess we don't really know what's been said behind close doors, if Rooney was to be our number one striker next season I wouldn't be as positive about about the deal but with Sandro Ramirez already signed and Lukaku still on the books he won't be our first choice striker, if Lukaku goes we'll sign another striker.

Wayne may just want to come home and backs himself in to perform well enough and score regularly to get those regular game starts.

United's squad is on another level to Everton's mate. Look at Morgon Schneiderlin, could hardly make an appearance at United last year but he was superb whenever he played for us.
So Schneiderlin plays superbly for Everton but cant get a game at United. But Everton's midfield is better than Liverpool's but Liverpool finished above United... and Everton.

So weird.

I didn't make those comments on who had the better midfield though matey.

You'd think Liverpool had just done the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, Club World Cup quadruple and Veratti, Kroos and Modric wouldn't get a look in their midfield.

Back to Brenton, Charlie Adams, Andy Carroll delusion...

Apparently DC to Atletico is close to being done. Doubt we'll get much more than £30m for him.
I read £20m :(

While he can't be registered until January, I would've preferred to flog him off to China and they can deal with Athletico.

so did wenger end up spending the same amount on laca as lyon were asking for him last season?

Believe it was for the same amount that had been agreed with AM prior to them failing in the appeal.

Does that mean they just have to loan him out for six months? Kind of defeats the point of a transfer ban.

Not ideal for him at his age. He came back pretty fat in the 2015 off season. Imagine what 6 months out will do to him.

Hes only good for half a season anyway, i guess AM are hoping to get the good half.

Im not fussed about what we get for him, we've already made about £130m in sales this year. We just need to make sure we end up with a decent replacement

Saying that Idrissa Gueye and Morgan Schnederlin wouldn't walk in to our team is not akin to saying Kroos or Modric wouldn't get a look in.

You're the one that is being silly, here.

It's the exact same. Everyone not a Liverpoo supporter would agree that Gueye and Schneiderlin would walk into that midfield. They're better than any CM you have.

the whole train for 6 months while the ban is in place thing is crazy. nothing beats competitive games. just see how far behind vidal and turan were for barca due to training with the club and not playing competitive fixtures. even if you just loan him out for 6 months to leganes or alaves, something is better than nothing.

It's not the same at all and you are making a fool of yourself.

Atletico aren't allowed to buy and loan him out. Chelsea would have to loan him and good luck finding a side that would take him for 6 months only plus pay his wages in Spain.

I'm making a fool of myself? That's a bit rich coming from a Liverpoo supporter, just have a read of the last 10 pages of this thread and that's a pretty good representation of the delusion supporting a club that still thinks it's big and/or relevant.
