You missed out on Morata but yes it seems you got your second choice in Lukaka

Oh, so Real Madrid aren't going to sell Morata this summer? The definition of missing out on a player is if he snubs the buying club to go elsewhere or stays put.

Now Morata didn't snub United to go elsewhere since he's still a Real Madrid player, so we will have to see if he stays with Real Madrid. But for right now, I am not seeing how United missed out on Morata, who apparently signed terms with United. It seems to me that United were the ones that did the snubbing.

He snubbed to stay at Real Madrid. That's why you panic bought Lukaku so high.

I am shocked at Alves' comments about City. Obviously he's snubbed them big time but rarely do you ever see a player rub it in the noses of the team like Alves has done to Pep & City. Something must have happened for him to embarrass City in the fashion that he has.

Surely a fake quote.

Faith, in a World Cup year and with Morata not having the greatest of goalscoring records on his CV, he's likely off to be a starter someplace else. That's just the reality of the situation.

I know. I couldn't believe it was true until I read it. Massive slap in the face for City.

I think Alves is probably just traditional in the "I like playing for clubs with history" sense of the word. I know PSG have only been around since 1970 but in terms of French football they're a massive club. I think what Alves could've meant is that at his age he wants easy trophies (unless Monaco do another Monaco) rather than being in a domestic competition with another 5 strong teams all competing for the league.

Depends if the right offer comes along FAITH. With Hamez Bayern came in and everyone got btfo. Morata has one of the best scoring records in Eu its why he was your number one target prior to the snub.

Joe Hart going out on loan? Why doesn't he just chuck in a transfer request and go somewhere permanently? He won't be a starter for City ever again, unless he becomes Buffon. I don't know why he wants his future hanging over his head for another season. Makes no sense for a 30 year old.

Yet, last season Lukaku scored 25 league goals and Morata managed 15 in 63 appearances (27 as a starter) in Italy. 15 goals in 26 league games last season, 14 as a starter, for Real Madrid in the most attacking system in Europe. I think you might be overestimating Morata's goal scoring prowess.

Damn, I am not sure why I wrote Faith.

he should lower his wages demands then.

You're right there. He's always seemed greedy tbf.

But not direct quotes from Jose. I doubt he'd put a footballer down like that. We've signed our number 1 target, so I doubt he'd get involved in talk about Lacazette.
You really are a united cheerleader. Seems like you don't know mou at all.

Clearly he doesn't believe pep can win anything with city.

Says the person who thinks Danilo is great a RB when there's plenty of discussion amongst neutrals and your own fans pointing to him being one of your worst signings in years.

40 mil offer from everton for sigurdsson has been rejected. sigurdsson also not involved in swansea's pre season tour.
Not far away if he's not on their tour. Maybe 45m will get it done.

Well because if he is sold, he will no doubt end up on a much smaller contract. I'd go out on loan too and keep collecting my massive paycheck from City.
