he's probably near a top 5 right back in the world. whatever you think about the quality of full backs, he's at least in the conversation currently.

carvajal alves walker bellerin pisczcek. there really arent that many. azpilicueta would be there if he played there still. i like pereira from porto who played for nice last season, who is probably going to go to spurs. there's others around who are more speculative. we overpaid for walker, no doubt, but i'd rather see overpaying in a position where there is such little quality and bring in a proven performer in the league.

Yeah he has been quite good for them. I always thought we sold Suso too early. I told anyone who would listen years ago that Suso was actually better than Sterling as both were breaking through.

I hope he continues to get better. I've always been a big fan and even have a Liverpool shirt with his name on the back.

Chelsea have granted permission for Diego Costa and Nemanja Matic to miss the club's pre-season tour of the Far East.
Sky sources understand there is no way back for Costa at Chelsea and his career at Stamford Bridge is now over.

He has been linked with a return to Atletico Madrid.
Meanwhile, Matic has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United.
