I don't mind it. We get our width from Salah / Mane. LB is probably the least important position for us and we'll make a profit by swapping Robertson for Morono. Spending big money on fullbacks is madness IMO.

Robertson is good for overlap as well, and is a solid defender, doesn't make many mistakes.

No big clubs overseas have showed the slightest interest in buying him. If he was any good the likes of Real / Barca / Bayern would have been chasing him for the last couple of years.

In fairness to Walker, every England player looked a shadow of there normal selves and Roy.

Will be interesting to see if Pep can get the best out of him like Poch did. Pre-Poch he'd be good for 75% of the season and then really really bad the rest. That improved to at least be just bad and only 10% of the time under Poch.

absolutely. plus walker was on the way out at the end of last season anyways after having his head turned/falling out whatever. it's a position lacking the most quality in world football right now imo.

a lot of the speculative names are just football manager players. fernandes, peruzzi, karsdorp, semedo. from russian, argie, dutch, portuguese leagues.

hell, just look at the william carvalho links for example. linked with us and he's a 45 mil player. no one interested, suddenly linked to west brom for half that. very few clubs in world football are just going to hand out discounts to rich clubs for the sake of it.
