Lol, at Goal.com saying Mourinho wants to swap De Gea for Kroos.

Sure, United and RM are going to come together to swap one of the best keepers in the world for RM's best midfielder. Who writes this crap?

Don't see Arsenal being out of the top 4 for too long. Maybe he wants a hard exit clause on his new contract.

EL won't be a cakewalk like last season with Milan this season.
Doesnt sound like he's interested in a new contract, as he said he's got one more season at Arsenal.

I guess the question is sell now for 50m+ or get nothing next summer.

Not sure about that. Does that mean Sanchez will automatically leave City if they fail to qualify for CL? It's great leverage for him to get a fantastic deal out of Arsenal and a way out if they miss CL again. Wenger just won't sell Sanchez by the look of it.

Hopefully this

City isn't really the side you'd choose to win a UCL at, not saying they aren't a shot as obviously they are but there are four sides you'd join that would increase your chance tenfold. Bayern, Barca, RM and at this stage Juventus.

I would be happy if Alexis signed a new deal with a 50-60m buyout that is triggerd if we miss the UCL next season. Might force the club to show some ambition in order to hold on to him and the players another motivation to perform.

There's no doubt he wants to leave right now. None at all.

Just a matter of whether Wenger is dead against selling him to City. At the moment it looks like he won't budge on that, and rightly so. Sometimes culture takes priority over money and this should be one of those instances.

Maybe not, but he should.

Are Arsenal better off £50m richer or with Sanchez in the team? It's honestly as simple as that.

I've got no issue taking one more year of Sanchez's prime years. A season is a long time, he may well find his contractual worth is a little less and we really should be pushing up into a CL spot with this list.

why would wenger decide to grow a spine now?

continue to be our feeder club. one more time.

The difference is Clichy, Sagna and Nasri weren't our best players.

We've got a Walcott you can have. Perhaps we can interest you in a Wilshere.

Top lols.

People similarly lost their shit when we were linked with Bertrand a few years ago but we ended up signing Moreno which made everyone happy because he had a foreign name and they'd never seen him play. These same people would kill to have Bertrand right now.

I'm a lot more positive about it. Liked him a lot whenever I saw him play.

He's got a bright future and will flourish at the right club.
