The championship spending has gone bad haha. There's no way he's worth 14m. Wonder if Rhodes is on the way out now.

He's definitely worth 14m, he's a very good player and should be playing in the PL.

Perhaps those clubs didn't think they needed to pay that much for a striker who would be behind Deeney/Gray.

i know we overpay for the majority of signing we make, but this is needlessly spending money. releasing a backup keeper who was content with being a backup keeper just to go and spend money on a backup keeper.

genuinely just spending money for the sake of it really if it happens.

Don't think it's quite that bad (yet). They didn't even have a starting 11 a week out from the season. From memory they had 5 or 6 players.

We have one senior CB on the books and no full backs.

They were bloody unlucky to get relegated from the Premier League in the first place. They finished 19th with 39 points!
