Good thing this season we're in the Championship then. If we're sitting here in 12 months worrying about how he'll handle the PL for us then I'll be quite ok with that.

FWIW, a good signing. If there is one thing I can take from last season it's the reminder that the Championship is a brutally tough league. Signing Championship proven players is a good strategy IMO. Worry about who can cut it in the PL if and when you get promoted.

So City are signing our first choice RB target as their backup? They are way ahead of us in terms of ambition and ability to sign players. I admire their ruthlessness with regards to getting deals done. I would much rather be paying overs in order to secure targets than penny pinching and lowballing all window to end up with doughnuts.

Yes we have lol, was talking about it yesterday actually. Maguire, Robertson, Jakupovic, Elmohamady, Huddlestone, Davies all gone.

Thats incorrect. RLC has been at the club since 2004. Theres probably a few others too.

Sterling is worth that money IMO.
