Why is Logan around if he signed elsewhere?

Hadn't heard that about St Ledger. Maybe he's interested in moving into management.

I remember him doing commentary for us last season for FoxesPlayer (or was it before that). I think he did League Cup match against Chelsea if I recall correctly.

I think he's trying to recover from injury. Hasn't played since September last year, and got released by the Coloraldo Rapids. So trying to get fitness. Hammo on the other hand, may be in for the badges.

Thats incorrect. RLC has been at the club since 2004. Theres probably a few others too.

It's easy to look back at those transfers in hindsight and criticise them. I also never said I am envious of the players they sign, more so in the way they conduct their business. Their targets are clear from before the window even begins and they seem to have no issues with getting them over the line because they don't haggle over a few million quid.

And for what it's worth, the only one I was overly critical of them signing for that fee at the time was Stones, but remember there was a point when both you and I wanted Stones to be a Chelsea player. Sterling was one of, if not the best young player on the planet at the time + the English factor. Mangala was bought for around something like £32m IIRC and was linked to several top clubs, including Chelsea. And right now, I would be happy if we coughed up £50m for Walker. Quality RBs are scarce and Walker is arguably the best RB in the PL who happens to be English. Give me that any day over Danilo who will cost us £30m and will probably need replacing in twelve months time because he stinks.

Sometimes if you just cough up that bit extra for quality, you won't find yourself trying to upgrade them every window. How much money have we spent trying to fix that right attacking side? Salah, Cuadrado, Willian, Schurrle, Pedro, etc. and we still haven't found a solution.

I just get the feeling that Chelsea are stubbornly unreceptive to the fact that the market is different these days. £30m is the new £10m, £50m is the new £30m, £75m is the new £50m etc. We still think we can buy the next Eden Hazard for £30m.

Willian seems to be regularly underrated? Sure, there might be better (no, you can't have Alexis), but for what you paid for him, his output is fantastic.

Definitely for sale. The Championship is his level and would be handy player for your midfield. Decent shield in front of the defense.

But beyond that, a real coup for Palace as there were rumours of bigger clubs being into him at the end of last season. It wouldn't surprise me to see them make a serious profit on him to a mega club in a few years time.

Seems that the FDB appointment is already paying dividends for Palace. And really, it should. It was a surprisingly astute managerial choice for that club considering that they count Pardew and Allardyce as recent managers.

I reckon the Championship is about his standard. Not sure he'd start just yet but would be a handy backup.

In an attacking team like ours he'd play CDM and when the fullbacks ran forward he'd drop back to act as a sweeping CB until the fullbacks came back into defence.

Ok passer but barely does anything going forward, I'd say he's like Lucas-lite but doesn't foul people as much as Lucas.

The only goal I recall him getting was for the U23s against Spurs a shot or header from a corner I think.

Yeah Kent is deffs the kid you want to get your hands on, Won Barnsleys young player of the season award too. A step up to a better side (Although still in the same division) in Hull would be good for his development I reckon.

Markovic and Stewart I don't really rate but Kent is an exciting kid. Better than Ojo IMO.
