Let the last £66m offer burn a hole in their pockets for a while, bluff that we're happy to walk away and see how much pressure Keita is willing to apply to get his way.

Not a huge fan of this side of transfers. We've been on the other side of the fence a few too many times over the years, unfortunately it's just the way the game is played and sometimes players and clubs need to be ruthless to get what they want.

And I'll give you the hot tip, absolutely no chance are we happy to walk away from this thinking we'll just pick him up next year without a fuss. Firstly, the lost opportunity from the impact he could have on our chances of success this season and secondly, if he has another season like the one he just had, you can guarantee we'll have a hell of a lot more competition for his signature than we've had this summer.
