Using their Parachute Payment Money it seems to try and get back up.Where the **** was this money when they were PL? Boro being a bit weird.
Sounds about right.Barkley for £40m at 11.54pm Aug 31?

Bidding for Fletcher seems weird though when they've spent 25M on Assomblonga and Braithwaite and already have Negredo, Gestede and the young English striker whose name escapes me...

I thought they still get 48M from Premier League TV Rights the 1st season after relegation?Negredo was on loan, he's not there anymore, and that parachute money generally only covers the wage bill.

For whatever reason, I thought they spent about 10M on Negredo last season also.
Who has suggested they would?I wonder how some fans would react if their club became incredibly successful off the back of oil money/being taken over by a billionaire? Would they wash their hands of their club? Would they not want or celebrate the success?
I think not.
The way some are carrying on it seems they would be disgusted if they were taken over a billionaire, and you know, actually won things after plowing tons into their club.Who has suggested they would?

Not all billionaires are created equal.I wonder how some fans would react if their club became incredibly successful off the back of oil money/being taken over by a billionaire? Would they wash their hands of their club? Would they not want or celebrate the success?

I don't think anyone has an issue with their club being successful. But blindly sticking your hand out for cash irregardless of where it comes from is a bit whorish. When our owners actually tried to pretend to be good owners and spent on the team plenty still didn't like them because of their background. The way some are carrying on it seems they would be disgusted if they were taken over a billionaire, and you know, actually won things after plowing tons into their club.
Negredo was on about 130K a week, would imagine De Roon was probably on a fair bit also. They probably want to get rid of Stewart Downing also I'd imagine.Yep, and our wage bill is around about 40-50m after relegation, I suspect their's would be similar.
RB Liverpool vs. RB Leipzig in the Red Bull Cup next year then....I'd hate for us to be taken over by oil money.
Would rather someone like red bull or a solar energy co

To hear your wage bill is that much with you guys only having a first team squad probably of about 15 or so is pretty astounding in itself I would have thought.
Always thought Jason Steele was a decent keeper. Not necessarily A-grade but decent. He'll do a job in the Championship. I think he had to move away from Boro to prove himself really.Apparently we're closing up a deal for Jason Steele from Blackburn. Mooch thoughts? Also being linked with Ross The Boss from Villa.
Seeing us sign those two has dampened the blow of Lewis Grabban somewhat.
They're still buying/developing youf though and most of their youf signings/promotions are in defence or midfield, the only position they look for the now is upfront hence buying guys like Eto'o, Zlatan, Henry, Villa, Neymar, Suarez etc who can smash the goals in.Been a long time since Barca bought kids through. And as the old guard leave they're not going to be replaced by kids. They'll be replaced by signings.
It was a great era for them but they're a different club now.
Rossell was/is a disaster for them.
Surely Negredo leavesUsing their Parachute Payment Money it seems to try and get back up.

You triggered many, friendI'm never putting another link in here again.

Surely Negredo leaves
