Not sure there's going to be a lot of growth in their domestic TV or match day revenue.

Presuming a £200m fee and a 5 year minimum contract they'll have to find around £40m each year for the next 5 or so to stay at the same level they're at now (I presume they're not making big losses atm).

Player sales, gamble on improved performances (and revenue) from champions league are the obvious ones. I expect an increase in sponsorship as well, not all "illegitimate". It's not all that difficult to fund a move like this.

Good luck negotiating with Nice. They'll pay 2-3m + significant bonuses for goals/appearances. That's how the Balo deal was structured except the fee was 0m + add ons for goals / appearances (of which there quite a few) + 30% of any future transfer fee.

Nice do specialise in signing misfits at very low prices with significant performance based add ons. Good luck

Offload Matuidi to Juve and Aurier to United.

Klopp has said it. Not Brendan Rogers. FSG rever Klopp, they wouldnt dare pull the rug from under him. He wont be sold this summer. Definitely possible in the future though.
