Our only worthy starters will come from Donnarumma, Romagnoli, Bonaventura and Suso, Of those Donna is guaranteed, Roma pending fitness is as well, Bona has Calhanoglu as competition both can play CM or LW, And Suso will depend on the formation we choose to play.

If we could get Costa and we play 3-5-2 which Montella is tinkering with ATM our starting 11 would look something like

Silva Costa
Rodriguez Bona/Calhanoglu Biglia Kessie Conti/Suso
Romagnoli Bonucci Musacchio
Donnarumma
On paper that's a very strong side in Serie A, Costa would put us in contentionm of top 2 if things go our way IMO.
That is a bloody outstanding team. Should be exciting to watch, score lots of goals but its also defensively sound as ****. Depending on what CL teams drop down, you guys clear favourites for the EL atm.

So Barca getting screwed over would be about the only thing that 99% of this board would be united in happy to see?

They aren't getting screwed over though, They put a 200M release clause in his deal, And he's not worth it anyway IMO, They can reinvest that and become better.

What 99% of people find funny is how much they're melting, They signed him as a teenager for a ridiculous sum and even paid his dad stupid money to get the deal done, Can't cry now when someone does the same to them.

It's even funnier because of the issues with taxes and the courts from when they signed him.

If they can get Verrati & Coutinho for the fee they receive from getting Neymar I don't think they'll do too bad at all. They've still got those two blokes Lionel & Luis something or other who can chip in with a goal or two.....

Surely fake?

That is why we wouldn't agree to terms with Batsuyahi as we would only give him wages of a backup to Kane. Real shit spot to be in as all we can hope for is unearthing an unproven gem

Different article source but same interview and quotes from the manager. Speaks a lot about what we've said in here but some don't want to listen to, Pearce alongside Dan Kilpatrick are some of the more worthy Spurs journos to read too.

Lionel is getting on in his career, I think Neymar was seen as the natural progression when Messi started to slow.

Coutinho would be good but he's not Neymar.

Coutinho and Verrati will allow them still to create enough chances to win games of football. Instead of those chances being spread among MSN it'll just be spread between Messi and Suarez

Yeah this season. Long term though, I think the plan was Neymar to take over from Messi. Replacing him with Vertti and Coutinho doesn't really do that.

They won't directly replace Neymar this season but Dybala or Griezman 12 months from now wouldn't be out of the question

It would be if they blow most of it on Coutinho and Verrati. From memory, I didn't think Barca were all that rich?

I'd be furious if we sell, and I think we won't.

It'd just be plain stupid, no matter what money you got and you wouldn't be able to replace his talent this late in the window.

Klopps not an idiot so it wont happen.
