What's stopping Qatar washing their hands of PSG at any point and moving on to another club?

After Qatar 2022 they may well do so. Qatar signed huge gas contracts and bought PSG as part of the deal for France to support their WC.

Once that's done who knows what they may do.

A lot of clubs are still owned by fans. Also a lot of clubs aren't making massive losses that need billionaires to sustain them.

PSG isnt making massive losses as far as I know.

They would suffer if QSI moved on, and would need to adjust their operations accordingly.

But that sort of thing has happened thousands of times in football.
