i was told by manure supporters that Real will go after DeGea this window.
I dont rate him in the top 5 keepers in the world so doubted it.
They wanted last summer, and the summer before that...
He's definitely in the top 2 GKs in the Prem along with Courtois

Bakayoko was bought in to eventually replace Matic, as Conte said. Matic moving somewhere where hes a guaranteed starter is a great move for him. Plus we got a great deal so everyone's happy except for Conte i guess.
United fans have been trying every angle to get a small win over Chelsea this off-season. This is what happens when you're the hunted. Embrace it.

No we havent.

If you're including Stones, Otamendi and Ederson as part of the defense, City have spent around that amount on defensive players and a bit more than that if you're including Bravo as well. Of course it's lower with the whole net spend thing but with transfer fees it is around the £250-260M range.

The Pedro snubbing didn't go down too well with them.

brighton signing columbian winger joze izquierdo from club brugge, subject to medical/work permit for 16 mil.

Not sold on it being true just yet.

The top people have been saying we need a STK, RB and GLK.

This fella is a left wing which wouldn't seem to match what we've been reportedly after.

£256m to be exact. Which could be reduced by sales of Mangala / Bravo / Hart although it seems Hart will be loaned out until his contract expires with significantly subsidised wages.

Yeah, i dont get why you cant just be happy with what you get rather than trying to make it some sort of win.

This isn't boding well for my Brighton to be relegated bet.

Bostonian disappointed I didn't take that bet about your spending..

Time will tell if it's a legit piece of info. I'm surprised we'd be spending that much on a single player not in a position of need.

There does seem to have been a gradual realisation and recognition that we were missing out on targets because of the market being what it was.

And there's also the unknown of how rich Tony Bloom actually is.

Go bake some cookies.

Wouldnt say we've just bought Stones, Otamendi or Bravo. Not even sure what those players have to do with us getting a fullback in.

We have three senior fulbacks plus Angelino (loan or sale), Denayer (sale) and Mangala (sale or stay) who can play fullback. I'd imagine we'll be interested in another.

We were interested in Rose but not so much any more. Still a few doubts about his long term fitness apparently.

Don't think Bravo will be sold this summer. Hart has already been loaned. Mangala might stay or go.

Our defence atm will be:

LB - Mendy, Danilo
CB - Kompany, Otamendi, Stones, Adarabioyo
RB - Walker, Danilo

For me I'd be happy for Mangala to stay or a new CB signing with Tosin to go out on loan. And a fullback signing.

On closer inspection the guy in the photo is Paul Winstanley our head of recruitment and it looks like a BHA logo on the letter head.

So looks like work permit permitting we will be signing Jose Izquierdo and smashing our transfer record(again) and signing the most expensive player ever from the Belgian league. Crazy times.

The guy has been sought after for awhile now so along with Propper, not a bad pair of new signings before the season starts.
