Think that just about covers it. Got a feeling the likes of Sane and Jesus would have to be on the over 21 list in Europe but we're still ok.

Chelsea have told him he is not wanted - in writing. Interesting to see what happens next, obviously Chelsea want to just get rid and move on.

Chelseaa problem isnt so much the contract or Atleti.

Apparently Sanchez has lost focus on the game since he agreed personal terms with Tottenham Hotspur.

looks like Ajax will miss a very important player (for this particular game). It's almost certain he (Sanchez) will not be on the bench.
He has asked Ajax for a reply but Ajax has told him they'll not respond.

Yeah, I read (and may have already posted on here) that Bartomeu's construction company is competing for a contract on one of those artificial Chinese islands owned by the Evergrande company and the 40m paid for Paulinho is less a 'fee' and more a greasing of the wheel in the construction contract negotiations.

Yeah it's 4 and 4 for UEFA with the same 17 non-homegrown players. Main difference in Europe I think is that there isn't a concession for all U21 players that there is in the PL, the main squad is limited to 25 and that's all that can play. I think there is also a secondary list that are additional home grown players but don't fit in the 25, but for most clubs they are unlikely to ever get used. For city the likes of Jesus and Sane would have to be included in the 17 for the UCL IIRC.
