To me i doubt the Burnley result has much to do with it, more the £40m figure we got for Matic. Which i guess isnt really as much as it used to be.

Who'd be clearly ahead of him? I don't think Stones is definitely better but definitely has a higher ceiling. Keane is better than Dier and Holding.

Maguire will be fairer to judge playing in a better side this season. Similar to Pickford where you just don't know if they looked good in a really bad team of if they're actually that good

Well Keane played for Burnley who were hardly much better. I think Maguire stood out for us more than Keane did for them.

Not the best comparison when Rojo got a lot of those games at left back and is coming off a better individual season than any of City's CB options had. Evans always played well at United when he was with a reliable partner.

Indeed, at least he's professional enough on that front. We do not want to end up like Soton. We want to establish our own credibility to push forward.

I think it kinda did for me. It showed your lack of depth and with Conte's complaints... it's just made it a touch tougher in my opinion.

A situation like this is unheard of for a big club. I never thought that both of our midfield core would not only be purchased, but going to the same club (but not yet!)

Theres a big difference between a dedender performing well in a Pulus style park the bus team and being able to do well in a defensive set up like ours.

When we changed from Mancini every one if our central defenders including Kompany struggled to cope.
