Apparently Kicker's linked us with a loan for Renato Sanches

Not sure about this

He'd definitely challenge Wijnaldum for his place in Pool's midfield.

Sanches is elite, a player with intelligence and maturity well beyond his years. Surely this season is now or never for Bayern to give him an extended run in the first team, or else he'd be within his rights to explore his options elsewhere.

Historically under-performing player that doesn't want to play in a position he's been finally found to be decent at? Still has no final product to his game after 7 years in the Premier League.

After nearly 200 games at Arsenal (a team known for attacking play) - Wing/forward, Attacking mid/Central mid and finally wingback he has the grand total of 30 something goals and 20 odd assists.

You won't find too many Arsenal fans shedding a tear if he leaves tbh.

Im pretty happy to add him as a squad player, hes not going to be a starter but will provide depth in a few positions mainly backup to Moses at RWB.

He'd help with the quota too so another bonus.

Hes still young and maybe the pennies dropped and hes happy to be played where ever he fits. Seems a win/win for both clubs.

Highly unlikely that Wenger will allow AOC to be sold to Chelsea.

£35m now or he can sign for nothing in 6 months.

Is Wenger that stubborn?
According to highly unreliable reports. Hold your horses, for there's a significant chance that Alex's supposed reluctance to extend is just his agent leaking to the media in pursuit of improved terms.

Anyway, they're all meeting to discuss his future imminently, so we'll most likely have more accurate information (Ornstein, AST members, Sky Sources) to draw judgement upon within the next few days.

Yeah he really doesn't really provide anything that other players can't. I see no value in hanging on to him given that there's no CL to contend with this season.

Our version of Ornstein seems pretty certain we have a 35m offer on the table and Ox would be happy enough to join so I guess we'll see.

Big week coming up.

Wenger rates him very highly. Wenger calls the shots. Regardless of whether we consider him indispensable or easily replaceable, the club is going to do everything in their power to keep a hold of the Ox.

So you're equally as convinced that Conte wants to sign Drinkwater for 40m?

I know. If there's one thing Wenger doesn't know, it's when to let a player go. It's paid off big time for players like RVP, but I don't see anything worth losing sleep over in a sub-standard wide player who thinks he should get game time in a position he's clearly not suited to.

But yeah, we'll probably still be having this discussion in 5 years.

Perhaps Girona could sign Ox on a pre-contract in January and loan him to us next season.

Don't particularly want him (not opposed to it either) but it would be funny for the outrage.

Yes. He'll be a Chelsea player before the window shuts.

Last reports are we are under £10m apart in offer and evaluation and Danny is keen on the move. As unfashionable as it is.
