We have signed Nacho's dad:

Claims he's 18, and played together with Nacho.

But seriously... that's our 5th Nigerian. Are we trying to become Nigeria's most popular English team?
Who is he?

I thought Liverpool fans did not read the Sun?
Well that's where this Vinny J 4 Pulisball story came from. He's only going out if we manage to convince Keita Balde to not wait for the possibility Juve want him in 12 months.

Just waiting on the outcome of his appeal I imagine. Wonder what happens if it isn't resolved by the time the window closes?

He doesn't move.

That seems the simple answer. However if Spurs desperately want him and are confident the appeal will be upheld, would they take the punt on signing him if he couldn't enter the country if it's not?

Levy struggles to spend money on players welcomed in the country. What do you think?

Well someone posted earlier in the thread that the appeal has been "in theory" upheld but they were waiting on paperwork to be processed. If that is the case they may take the risk.

Been no actual credible reports on that at all.

I know, hence the "Wonder what happens if.." in my post. I'm discussing the possibilities if there is no official/public resolution prior to deadline day. If behind closed doors Spurs are aware that the appeal will be successful (this could be known by the parties involved as the hearing took place over 3 weeks ago), would they sign him prior to the paperwork being made official? You think not obviously, I think it's possible.

'With these legal assurances, Tottenham and Manchester United can be sure that the player will qualify for a work permit. Unfortunately, those documents have yet to be produced. Now apparently, the decision on Aurier's appeal has already been taken, but not announced yet, that is according to L'Équipe, which makes the situation even more peculiar.'

Not sure about GFFN, but from what I understand Lequip are usually reliable.

Who is he?
Habib Makanjuola. Former Chelsea youth product. Was a starter with Nacho when Nigeria won the U17 Wold Cup in 2013.

He was only... 14, (and if you look at the squads, most of the players are 16 and 17, yet Nigeria had 14 year olds playing for them.)

Nigeria, 14 years old, WC winners... make of this what you will.

More i think about it the more Aurier deal makes sense. 20-25m on someone who is one of if not the best RB in the league is a steal. If he doesn't come off we have decent back ups in Trippier and KWP and should be able to flog him off to China or Turkey for 10-15m within 12 months.

More likely to go to jail than win that

Facing a prison sentence and winning a Balon d'or is going hand in hand lately.

Aurier will be a good signing.

Another player that wanted to come to Arsenal but Wenger decided Jenkinson would be the better option....

Now one's going to Spurs and the other we can't even sell...

We did not want Aurier because of Bellerin.
Didn't Wenger chose Debuchy over him in the summer of 2014 and Aurier went on loan to PSG instead? Wasn't until Debuchy's injury halfway through that season that Bellerin got a look in.

The guy's nuts, I wouldn't put not signing him as a huge mistake.
