Yes.

Would've preferred to have him this season but can't complain, he's a Red - or will be. Already a big talent but is going to be an immense player in years to come.

Erm

I dunno how to process my current emotions atm, this is all so sudden

BREAKING NEWS

We understand Chelsea have agreed a fee with Arsenal for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The 24-year old is currently with the England squad at St George’s Park.

It’s thought that large parts of his medical could be carried out at England’s training centre. The clubs are yet to confirm the development but it’s our understanding that an agreement between the two clubs has been reached this afternoon.

The fee is believed to be around £35m.

More from the Sky Sports transfer blog.

If this goes through, and if we make no more signings we actually have made a profit.

Seriously this club...

What's going on!? Crazy few hours.

It looks like we have actually signed Naby Keita!?!?

We also threw 55 million at Monaco for Lemar!

Are these all precursors for Coutinho going?

I hope not. What a boss window it would be if we got Lemar, Keita in for next season and then VVD and didnt sell Cout haha.

If Liverpool sell Cout then sign Lemar and a top defender then they'll actually be better off. Remains to be seen how they'll be affected by Euro footy, but that's a title challenging team.

Oh, we've completed the signing of Juan Foyth as well. Not confirmed by the club yet, but the player himself told the media it was happening.

He's a 19 year old CB from Estudiantes in Argentina.

We had a Champions League Qualifier mid week then yesterday vs Arsenal it looked like we were the fresh side and they played mid week.

Safe to say it's currently in the boom phase in the boom/bust cycle :D

Yeah, the concern was always spending the Coutinho money properly. Didn't think we'd get a replacement this late but if Monaco would sell us Lemar then it's a different story, it's as like for like as a replacement can get. Get a CB like VVD with the remaining money and we'd be laughing

I guess the club's learnt from spunking the Suarez money on bear jizz and hippo shite

Why not get Lemar and VVD and just keep Cout. We have tons of money and no reason to sell.

I don't mind that at all, but the way we're throwing cash left and right makes you think we might just be selling
Yep. Certainly looks that way. Having said that though, before the whole Coutinho saga started, we were throwing 60-70 at Keita anyways and around 40 or so at VVD.

So the money was there.

premium on top of release fee?

that's a lot of money i would assume.

Release 48mil + 3mil "premium" (51mil) to get the deal done now so another club doesn't swoop in next year.

PSG bound until Mauricio phoned him. Sounds like he's taken a liking to the idea of learning from his compatriot. Suspect he'll debut v Barnsley/Derby. Looks a crisp passer.

Only slight downside is we've spent £50m on CB's and with CCV loaned to Sheffield and after Big Kev moves to Stoke it leaves just Jan as being left footed.

Patrick Roberts to Celtic on a seasons loan. Not sure we'll learn anything about him this season that we don't already know.

Apparently knocked back a loan at Southampton which would have been a much better test.
