really, it's just a future transfer. an obligation to buy without a loan in place. whether that's the spread money/amortisation onto the next set of accounts or it's the only way leipzig would do it, fact is liverpool have secured a really good midfielder.

Origi’s father, Mike, told DH.be on the rumours: “Divock has to leave Liverpool to get more playing time.

“Tottenham is a possibility, but there is also interest from France and Germany.”

I've always got the impression that Origi has the physical capabilities to be a top player but he's still raw and may not have the football brain to cash the checks that his athleticism writes.

Wouldn't mind him though as a backup for Kane and a player who can play the 'Son' wide forward role as well.

Problem with Origi is he isn't that fast, and his strength and hold up play aren't good enough to make up for it. He's basically a slightly better version of Welbeck at this point

Liverpool power grab is for real. If they pull off all their targets it could actually return them to the pinnacle of the English game.

The three big northern teams have had a far more productive window than the three London ones.

Pretty sure he's burnt all his "Chelsea will do him a favour" bridges. If AM don't buy him now and loan him for 6 months he'll be playing in the under 23s.

The balls in their court to do a deal now and get him fit for January. As we've shown in the past we aren't going to be dictated by a player and will wear the cost if necessary. He's already been replaced and we don't need the cash.

I don't see you guys loaning him to Everton as a "favour". It makes sense for Chelsea to do it if you can't agree a deal with AM this window. They pay his wages and you don't have him hanging around like a bad smell.

This transfer is different in that you've told Costa he is not wanted. It was even put in writing in a text message from Conte. Fascinating to see what happens because AM are notorious tight arses. If you get more than £35m I reckon you've done very well considering the circumstances.

Still need a CB. Lovren would be a good 3rd CB, not a starter.
You're welcome [emoji106]

A deal will get done imo. He'll be AMs problem in a couple of days.
