Haha, yeah it's easy to take when it's a guy who won't start much for your team. Would have liked him for depth(and being English is a bonus), but TBH he's not much chop(plus dictating where he wants to play, OK).

I don't see a use for him with us. Behind Henderson, Can, Wijnaldum in CM & Keita is coming next season. The only role I can see him being useful in is the Milner utility role with Milner being out of contract at the end of this season.

I'd rather offer Can big £££ on a new deal than buy the ox for around £30-£35m.
