Wow, what a night of garbage Arsenal transfer talk.

City offer 50m for Alexis, Arsenal refuse, Arsenal want Sterling + cash for Alexis, no wait, Arsenal only want Aguero not Sterling.

Ox doesn't want to go to Chelsea because he won't play enough (really genius?), wants to go to Liverpool instead where he will only play RWB/LWB as well but only if they match Chelsea's offer of 40m quid.

Only thing that makes sense is us making an offer for Johnny Evans, can almost guarantee that one will happen if we let Mustafi go to inter. Signing United rejects has really worked well in the past hasn't it Arsene?

Liverpool play 4-3-3 and thus don't use pure wing backs. My guess OX would be used as a backup winger/CM in cup games

Ox would only be an eventual Milner replacement if he was signed.

Can't blame Ox, he wants time in midfield and he knows he won't get it at Chelsea with the likes of Fabregas, Kante and Bakayoko all ahead of him. He would be Liverpool's best central midfielder so it makes sense to want a move to a club where he is the star.

He may decide he can break into the champions first XI after he follows Coutinho's footsteps and uses Pool as a stepping stone but obviously he's not ready yet and he knows it. Pool is the right call.

Haha, yeah it's easy to take when it's a guy who won't start much for your team. Would have liked him for depth(and being English is a bonus), but TBH he's not much chop(plus dictating where he wants to play, OK).

He's all yours

9 league goals in 7 years and only 1/2 a decent season behind him. I wouldn't worry about being snubbed for this one.

Starting to have my doubts about Liverpool again. Good side but I’m not convinced by Klopp. Has he won anything with Liverpool? He hasn’t capitalised on a weak league since he made the switch over and was beaten to the punch by Claudio Ranieri’s Leicester when all the big boys were sleeping. The best Liverpool have looked in the PL era is under B Rodgers. Klopp is yet to have Liverpool playing anything remotely near the level B-Rodge had them playing in 13-14, which admittedly was frightening stuff.

He isn’t quite as good as Conte and Poch at getting the best out of players so I’m not really sure what all the fuss is about. I thought Pool could win the league, but was I just getting sucked into their usual early season hype? Is it just another false dawn? Will the cream actually rise this season?

I doubt we sign the ox. Seems rumours linking him with us come from his camp more than anything else.
