Is Andre Gomes as terrible as I've read or did he just have a bad time at Barca?

Underwhelming at Barca but made his mark at Valencia and Benfica

He's apparently 6 foot 2, physically he should cope

I dunno, mate. I watched a youtube video earlier and that's the first I've seen of him. Looks a decent dribbler and good technically but not the quickest.

I've read some say he'll struggle with the Prem and then a Spanish based journo who said he should suit it given he's powerful, direct and can dribble past players. His physique makes him sound a Pochettino style player though.

Can't complain about it when it's totally within the laws. And have been used fairly regularly by a variety of clubs without complaint from anyone.

We are signing a guy for when we need a goal in the last 3 mins and want to play hoof ball. That happens about 5% of games. Waste of time signing him. Awful fit for us.
