Apparently we are heavily scouting FM fave Carlos Soler from Valencia with a view to a January transfer. Should be relatively straightforward if Andy P is included in the deal.

Luke Shaw's United days are done and dusted. He'll be off with a replacement LB coming in January. No idea who at this stage. Would rather promote Lee O'Connor but that's just me.
Rose. I'd say he's at short odds to get turfed out next summer.
You don't cross this manager. He's a goner.

He got a pretty horrific injury, prior to that he was the best lb in the league.
He was never the best LB in the league IMO. Lots of potential and played maybe half a dozen good games for United.

Was at his best at Soton.
Agree with that. Showed a lot of promise there. I could still see him thriving at the right club.

He'll still be a very good player, just another thats fallen out with Mou I guess.

Nah, he had the exact same issues with LVG too. The press keep trying to put this on a Mou fall out to stir up a bit of drama but that's just clickbait, he has no one to blame but himself.

He has talent but issues with injury, confidence and (mostly) poor professionalism are really holding him back.

Mous a hard task master(rightly too), if a player doesn't fit his mold he's turfed and replaced. We saw it with guys Mata/Schurrle(wrong style), KDB(lack of professionism), Salah/Cuadrado(lack of confidence), Rom(wrong mentality) etc

It happens and it won't hold you back. You'll sell him and he'll go on to have a good career elsewhere and his replacement will fit the team better. Everyone wins.

Yeah, I'm well aware that Mou is a hard task master (& so was LVG) but in this case I think it is more a case of the player's standards being too low. Who knows, he's still young and has plenty of time to turn it around but I just don't think he has the drive or discipline needed to succeed at a big club.

Its also not like Mou hadn't given him a chance. So far Shaw is failing to rise to that challenge.

We can trigger another year on him and we should do so and then send him out on loan to another PL team.

Yeah, it won't happen in January, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a Shaw and cash deal for Rose in the next Summer window.
Pochettino is harder on Shaw in his book than LVG or Mou were but thst doesn't fit the narrative.
Depends on how it's done though, doesn't it? The reports seem to suggest that Mourinho has been a right selfish campaigner when it comes to Shaw, rather than hard but fair.
